WEFAS Architecture is an innovative design firm with the focus on technology and environmental issues. WEFAS is an acronym for Water, Earth, Fire, Air and Space, which are the embodiments of Architecture and Engineering (AE). Water stands for plumbing, Earth for structure, Fire for safety, Air for mechanical engineering and Space for the essence of architecture itself. These were widely embraced by various civilizations from pre-historic time to the present, and modern world supports this classification as basic to people’s perception of the environment.

Our objective is to promote sustainability by developing high performance design and to analyze its environmental impact not only on a local scale but globally. To achieve this, widely accepted metrics are utilized such as Architecture 2030, USGBC LEED and IWBI WELL building rating systems as well as our own set of principles promoting WELLNESS.

Our preferred style is Parametricism since its aesthetic qualities rise from optimizing various programmatic requirements including high performance design. This methodology allows for implementing project parameters in the early stage of the design process instead of just demonstrating compliance at a later date. Our main software platform in the design and delivery process is Building Information Modeling (BIM), which we take farther by utilizing tools such as Dinamo, Grasshopper for Rhino, 3D printing, robotic fabrications and other means of DIGITAL DESIGN.
