WEFAS Architecture served as an Agency Construction Manager on Los Angeles World Airports’ PM/CM team, overseeing various aspects of construction of the Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRAC) facility at LAX. Our role included coordinating Tenant Improvement projects and managing the relocation of Hertz, Fox, and Sixt —three of the major car rental companies into their new spaces within the facility. The new LAX ConRAC is a state-of-the-art, multi-level facility designed to bring all rental car operations into one centralized location, eliminating the need for multiple shuttle trips and significantly reducing traffic congestion around the airport. Spanning millions of square feet, it streamlines the rental process for travelers while supporting LAX’s sustainability goals through improved efficiency, modern amenities, and environmentally conscious design.
