WEFAS Architecture, Inc. is currently a sub-consultant to HDR on Metro’s North Hollywood to Pasadena BRT project, designing bus stations along the Glendale segment. The North Hollywood to Pasadena Transit Corridor project is part of Metro’s plan for better transit. This project will connect the cities of Los Angeles (North Hollywood and Eagle Rock communities), Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena, improving access to jobs, education and other important destinations. With this project, Metro is planning Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) which is faster and more reliable than regular bus service. BRT will help take cars off the road and serve neighborhoods that need public transit services the most, while improving air quality using electric zero-emission vehicles.
